Photographers Who Inspire Us

Photography is never created in isolation. Every image carries echoes — of places we’ve seen, people we admire, styles that resonate. Our own storytelling is rooted in Mediterranean light, its rhythm, its sense of timeless ease. But it’s also inspired by the photographers who, across decades, have captured this part of the world with honesty and beauty.

The sun-faded facades of Luigi Ghirri, the crowded beaches of Massimo Vitali, the intimate coastal moments of Claude Nori, each of them shows us that the Mediterranean is not just a place, but a feeling. A slower pace, a certain glow, a celebration of life by the sea.

We also look to Slim Aarons, whose glamorous portraits of European summers remind us that storytelling is as much about people as it is about places. Between his Riviera villas and Ibizan terraces, he documented a lifestyle that still inspires us today, not in its perfection, but in its sense of leisure and elegance.

Our inspiration board is filled with fragments: tiled floors catching the afternoon light, striped umbrellas by hotel pools, sisters walking the streets of Ibiza, linen dresses and woven baskets, the sea as both backdrop and subject. These images, past and present, guide how we approach our own work – not as staged perfection, but as stories that feel lived-in, real, and unforgettable.

Because for us, the Mediterranean is not just where we live. It’s the lens through which we see beauty.
